For those of you interested in the ND Club of Dallas Tutoring program, we volunteer at St. Cecilia (635 Marycliff, Dallas 75208) every year on predetermined Saturdays to help the students with their homework. At first it may sound a bit intimating, but then you realize that regardless of how long it's been since you were in school, the knowledge comes back and the experience helping the kids is priceless!

There are some requirements of the Diocese and the school, namely that you have taken the safe environment training course and had a simple background check completed. The course is a one-time event that takes 2-3 hours and then can be renewed online every couple of years after that. Many of you may have already taken it if you're active in your parish. The good news is that the first few tutoring sessions are usually pretty stocked with Bishop Dunne students, so if you can't make it on relatively short notice, no worries.

The schedule for the 2011-2012 school year is as follows:

• November 12th
• December 3rd
• January 14th & 28th
• February 11th & 25th
• March 3rd & 31st
• April 14th & 28th
• May 12th
